Policy To comply to state regulations, the clubs smoking policy has been modified. There will not be any smoking in the club house, the entire building will be listed as NON-SMOKING. Please observe the new policy, Thank You!! |

Loss of last surviving founding member:
Charles D Sparks, the last living founding member of the Salem County Sportsmen's Club passed away Saturday morning, March 22nd, 2008. Charles was one of a handful of men that had the vision, foresight and determination to create and build the wonderful organization that we members have the priviege to enjoy today. Charlie was very active in the club since it's inception in 1947, serving on the board of directors 13 years and as Board President for 4 years. Charlie continued to stay involved in the club throughout his retirement attending meetings, providing advise, historical information, attending the shrimp and crab dinners, and the Happy Hours when he wasn't in Florida. Charlie's wisdom, experience, smile and his orations at Regular meetings will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Archery Shoots
The club holds monthly
archery shoots. Come on out and test your marksmenship. Call
the club office for the date and time of the next shoot.
Trap and Skeet Open for members and guests: The club continues to hold weekly trap and skeet shooting on Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm until dark for any men\mber and their guest interested in shooting. Even though there have been several rainouts this year the enthusiasm of our shooters is only a few squads behind last year (a much drier season). Come on out and "break a few".
The club is available throughout the year. Holiday rentals should be booked as far in advance as possible. Use of the kitchen and bar are available with the rental.
